Slim Cabinet OEM Guide: How to Source BW1381 for Bathroom and Home Storage
We are NEWLINE. For more than fifteen years we have worked as a bamboo and wood household manufacturer, and in this post we walk you through BW1381, our slim cabinet with drawers. Below we cover what it is for, the custom work we take on, how an order runs, and what we do once the goods reach your warehouse. It is a fair picture of how an OEM ODM narrow cabinet manufacture actually operates, day to day.
Where BW1381 came from
It started with a question. A buyer asked us, almost word for word, whether we had anything that fits between the toilet and the wall.
We had nothing. So we made one.
Think about that strip in your own bathroom. Usually 15 to 25 cm wide. A normal cabinet can't use it, so it just sits there as dead space. Our answer was a body 20 cm deep and 60 cm tall. Two drawers on top for the small stuff. One open section below for bottles and spare rolls.
That is the whole product logic. Fill the gap. Keep it simple. This is also how we work as a narrow cabinet manufacture: a product starts from a real space problem, not from a catalogue page.
Where the cabinet fits, and where it doesn't
Bathrooms are the obvious home for it, next to the basin or beside the toilet. But don't box it in there.
Kitchens work. Laundry rooms work. Bedrooms work too. We have seen buyers position it next to narrow shelving, wall units, small floor cabinets, laundry organisers and compact vanities. The storage function stays the same. Only the contents change with the market. Buyers expect that from a proper narrow cabinet wholesale supplier, not from a one-product factory. We built the range that way on purpose.
The material of item main body is made of MDF and surface stick with wood-grain melamine. Not plain white, and that was deliberate. We chose that for a practical reason. White shows every fingerprint and water mark within a week. But Grain can not. It warms the room atmosphere, and it fits fine next to white sanitaryware or a timber vanity.
The services behind the product
A product is only half of what you buy from a narrow cabinet wholesale supplier. The other half is what happens around it, so here is how we run things.
Quotation first. You send the model code, quantity, finish, packing requirement, logo file, destination country and target date. We reply with a quotation sheet that says what is in and what is out. Exclusions go on paper. That way nobody argues after the bill of lading.
Then sampling. We check your details, suggest size and colour references, and arrange an initial sample. Sample cost and freight are quoted separately. After you approve, we build a pre-production sample against that approval. Mass production only starts once you have signed off.
Production takes about 40 days from deposit and sample approval. Before anything ships, we check every carton. The finish, the drawer action, how solid it feels, the packing. Not a spot check.
MOQ runs around 100 pcs per style for our own designs. Custom work gets its own number. Trial orders are welcome, and many of our long-term wholesale buyers started with exactly that.
After-sales? This is where an OEM ODM narrow cabinet manufacture has to prove itself, because anyone can quote a price. We support and guarantee service one year for after sale. Including product damage is, and it doesn't stop there. If a the item have damage in transit, send the order number and photos to NEWLINE, we’ll be check first and found out replacement parts, replacement units to help u , or credit against your next order. Feedback also goes back into product development. Several details in our current range exist because a customer pushed back after launch.

OEM ODM customisation: what you can ask us to change
Custom work is what we do all day as an OEM ODM narrow cabinet manufacture. Here is what we can change, plus a couple of traps worth avoiding.
Finish and colour. The wood-grain colour is a starting point. Pale oak tends to suit Scandinavian-leaning markets, in our experience. Deeper walnut tones suit others. Send your pefer colour for surface, or reference detail pics, and we match against it before quoting.
Dimensions for item general is in W 40.5 x D 20 x H 60 cm, of course it could be change if custom require. We have the many years experience on custom and OEM ODM require. One note from experience: changing the width affects drawer travel, panel strength and carton size together. We review the full drawing, not one number.
Hardware and layout. Knobs come in options, and we can develop a new one if your range needs it. The drawer split is redrawing too. Tell us what your customers actually store. We'll suggest a layout from that.
Logo and packaging. We print your logo on the carton and on the product itself. Retail-ready packs, insert cards, barcode areas, all of it can be built in. Approve the branding on a physical sample on the real finish. Grain changes how a print reads. The custom logo that looks nicer to achieve customer brands influence in market
Wholesale or retail? Two trial plans we actually recommend
Wholesalers and retailers don't need the same first order, so we don't push one plan at both. Here is how we usually start each.
Buying for wholesale or distribution? Take 100 pcs in one finish, in the standard carton, with master cartons and pallet loading sorted from day one. Your logo can go on the carton at this stage or wait. The first order is for testing your channel, not for filling a warehouse. If it moves, repeat on the same drawing. That is when the paperwork from order one pays for itself.
Buying for a retail shop or an online store? Selling in a shop or online? Then the packing way which is most suitable for your target, NEWLINE narrow cabinet manufacture could recoomend detail option. MOQ could start at 100 pcs per style. Also support for a barcode on packing. Add an insert card. Protect the drawer surface and the corners.
Either way, the point of a trial order is simple. You get to judge us on real goods, and we get to learn your market. Nobody is stuck with a container of guesses.
Buying as a slim cabinet wholesale manufacture client: what to send us
Working with a Slim cabinet wholesale manufacture team goes smoother when the RFQ is complete. Here is the checklist we give our buyers.
The model code. Quantity. First order and annual estimate, both if you can. The finish or colour you want. Packing expectation. Logo file. Destination country. Target delivery date. If it is a hotel or property project, add room type and rough volume per year. Both change what we recommend.
Comparing suppliers? Then make sure every quote sits on the same revision and the same packing basis. A price for a different revision tells you nothing. The cheapest quote usually charges the difference back later. A serious slim cabinet wholesale manufacture would rather lose the order than play that game, and we say that as one.
